Not All Realtors Are the Same: Here's Why

Fit me for the marketing seat
Before I became an agent, I learned real estate from behind the scenes, running marketing and operations for a real estate business. I know what actually goes into a great listing: photography, video, copy, placement, follow-up systems. That's not a line on my bio, it's the job I did before I ever showed a home.
Fit them for the honest-answer seat
A great agent tells you when the house you love is overpriced, when the offer in front of you is weak, and when a renovation is not worth it. A mediocre agent agrees with you to keep you happy. I promise you the first version. If I don't know the answer, I'll figure it out, and I'll tell you when I'm working on it.
Ask these questions before you hire anyone
How many transactions did you close last year? Can you show me your marketing plan? How fast do you respond to me, and to other agents on your listings? Do you have a transaction coordinator, or are the details all on you? Their answers will tell you more than any sales pitch.
Real estate doesn't have to be complicated, but it does have to be done right. The person you pick makes that difference every single day.
